With just under eight minutes left in the first quarter, Suitt threw his first touchdown pass, a 4-yard strike to Nick Doughty, who scored again in the second quarter on a 23-yard pass. Doughty caught three passes for 56 yards.

The Pirates led 49-6 at halftime after Brandon Fichter caught his second touchdown pass. Fichter led the Pirates with three catches for 91 yards.
