Northwest school bus hits rock hauler

FORT WORTH--A Northwest school district bus carrying several students hit the back of a rock hauler Thursday morning, but no major injuries were reported, police said.

Nine students and the bus driver were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The minor wreck was reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. near Northwest High School in far north Fort Worth.

Students were checked by paramedics at the scene but none were taken to a hospital, police said.

Police reported minor damage to the vehicles.
