Our governor and our attorney general have taken a brave stand for religious freedom in Texas. They decided it would be in our state's best interest to enter into another social debate about injecting religion into our public schools.

Our two fearless crusaders have taken up the defense of proselytizing cheerleaders in the Kountze school district, because it is clearly in the best interest of ... whom exactly?

How about instead of wasting taxpayer dollars on this indefensible case, you instead put the money toward something more valuable to the school kids of Texas?

I heard there was some room for improvement on school funding and student achievement, among other things. Maybe you could try caring as passionately about improving Texas schools as you care about divisive and politically expedient social issues.
