FORT WORTH --A 43-year-old Fort Worth woman faces an aggravated assault charge after hitting her boyfriend in the head with a three-pound crystal ball.

Jennifer Walker was arrested Tuesday night after the alleged attack on Louis Walker, 45, and remained in the Mansfield jail Wednesday morning with bail set at $15,000.

According to Fort Worth police, the Walkers had been driving to their southwest Fort Worth home when they got into an argument. After arriving home in the 4600 block of Barberry Tree Cove, the fight turned physical.

Jennifer Walker grabbed a crystal ball, described by police as baseball-sized, and struck Louis Walker on the head, causing a two-inch laceration, police said.

Louis Walker was taken to an area hospital.
