A 29-year-old Saginaw man who had been arguing with his father Tuesday night died after he got out of the car and was struck by a Ford Explorer as he tried to cross all lanes of traffic in the 1200 block of Northeast Loop 820.
Aaron Goldsmith was pronounced dead at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office reported.The accident occurred about 10 p.m. Goldsmith had been arguing with his father in the car as they were traveling westbound on Loop 820, a Fort Worth Police Department news release states. His father pulled over to the shoulder and Goldsmith got out.He tried crossing all of the lanes of traffic and was hit by the Ford Explorer as he tried to cross the eastbound lanes.Another accident was caused when a second vehicle stopped to avoid hitting Goldsmith and was struck by another vehicle.The passengers in those vehicles were treated at the scene for minor injuries.Bill Hanna, 817-390-7698Twitter: @fwhannaHave more to add?
