The Texas Rangers' opportunity to make it back to the World Series ended weeks ago when Randy Galloway decided to offer up his version of the Laura Miller jinx by predicting the Rangers had clinched the Western Division, and when General Manager Jon Daniels decided to trade for two players from the perennial loser Chicago Cubs.

Let this be a lesson to both of them. However, while feelings of negativity and disappointment are in the air right now, I prefer to focus on the great baseball we have seen at the Ballpark in Arlington the past three years and am already looking for more of the same in 2013. Go Rangers!
