GRAPEVINE -- At least two Colleyville Heritage High School students were taken to a Dallas hospital Monday afternoon after their school bus and a white pickup collided on Texan Trail north of the intersection with Texas 114/121, police said.
The wreck was reported at 4:18 p.m. in a construction zone.The bus was carrying 18 students home from classes, said Megan Overman, spokeswoman for the Grapevine-Colleyville school district.Six students complained of neck pain and at least two were taken to a hospital, Grapevine police Sgt. Robert Eberling said.The pickup driver was not hurt, he said.Overman said "a few students" were taken to Baylor Hospital in Dallas and all the parents had been contacted.The wreck blocked traffic until it was cleared about 5:20 p.m. The cause of the wreck was still being investigated.Nicholas Sakelaris, 817-714-7183Shirley Jinkins, 817-390-7657Have more to add?
