A pedestrian died Monday after she was hit by a vehicle that jumped a curb on Beach Street in north Fort Worth, police said.
The woman, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident was reported at 12:40 p.m. in the 5700 block of North Beach Street near Fossil Creek Boulevard.Sgt. Pedro Criado said a truck was southbound on Beach when it hit a curb and went through an intersection. It jumped another curb and hit the victim, who was walking on a grassy area away from the street.Then the truck plowed through some real estate signs and came to rest about 200 yards away.
