FORT WORTH -- Police were looking for four people Wednesday night after gunfire broke out and two men were wounded in southeast Fort Worth, a police spokeswoman said.

Officers responded about 5:30 p.m. to a call about a fight in the 3600 block of Forbes Street. They found two men who had been shot, Officer Sharron Neal said.

The crime scene was "chaotic" and a half-block long, with many bystanders around the victims, Neal said.

No other information about the four people sought or the wounded men was available from police.

The wounded men were taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, a MedStar spokesman said.

Their conditions were not immediately available.
