TCU announced a six-year agreement to televise Horned Frogs athletic events on Fox Sports Southwest and the networks' other regional and national brands..

The financial details were not disclosed.

The agreement, which covers what is generally referred to as third-tier media rights, includes the rights to one TCU football game each season and all available men's basketball games. Other sports, including baseball, women's basketball, soccer and volleyball will have a home on what TCU is calling its flagship network. TCU's football opener against Grambling State last week is the one game this season.

"You could say we've definitely been bullish on the Big 12," Fox Sports senior vice president Jon Heidtke said. "Our mission statement is to be the preeminent regional sports network in our five-state territory. Adding these schools of this caliber, including TCU today, certainly heads us in that direction."

The Frogs' partnership with the network officially began with the football season opener against Grambling State, which was broadcast on Fox Sports Southwest. Football game telecasts will be produced by Fox sports. TCU students in the sports broadcasting curriculum will produce the other telecasts in collaboration with Fox Sports.

Del Conte said there are no immediate plans to create a weekly show for the network. Schools such as Baylor, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State each have weekly shows, often dedi
