A gas explosion near Acton in Hood County has been extinguished and no one was injured, authorities said.
Reports indicated the explosion occurred about noon Thursday at a compressor station on Godley Road near Acton. Acton is about 35 miles southwest of Fort Worth near Lake Granbury.A spokesman at the Hood County Fire Marshal's office said the fire was out.The Hood County News reported on its website that emergency personnel responded to reports of a gas explosion but said only that all workers had been "accounted for."Have more to add?
