Two West Nile deaths bring Dallas County total to five

DALLAS -- Two more people in Dallas County have died of illness related to the West Nile virus, bringing the total number of deaths to five, county health officials reported Monday.

Both people lived in north Dallas and had developed West Nile neuroinvasive disease, according to a news release from Dallas County Health and Human Services.

Tarrant County had recorded no deaths as of Monday, the Public Health website showed.
