Irving police have released a photograph of a truck that was used by two men to drop off a dead woman last week at an Irving hospital.

Investigators hope that someone will recognize the Ford Ranger and provide authorities with the identity of the men who dropped off a 20-year-old Carrollton woman at Baylor Medical Center at Irving on July 17.

Initially, authorities did not know the identity of the woman, who was pronounced dead at the hospital. But after news coverage of the case, investigators received leads that helped them to identify her as Alexandra Julia Moreno.

Family members and friends told authorities that they last saw Moreno on the night of July 16, and they became concerned when she failed to return home.

She turned up at the hospital at 1901 N. MacArthur Blvd. at 6:45 a.m. the next day. Hospital officials told police that she had been dropped off dead at the emergency room doors.

Officials told police that two men drove up to the doors, got the attention of nurses and doctors and directed them to the truck where they found the woman.

Moreno was taken into the emergency room where she was pronounced dead, Irving police said.

While the woman was in the emergency room, the Hispanic men, who reportedly are in their late 30s, drove off in a dark blue or black Ford Ranger.

A ruling on her death is awaiting toxicology results, Irving police said. There were no signs of trauma.

Anyone with information should call Irving police at 972-273-1010.
