Before I received an advertising mailer that slams Stephanie Klick as a "stranger to our district," I intended to vote for Ken Sapp, who appeared to be an honorable, independent conservative.
I cannot vote for him after seeing the misleading flyer. It originated from Austin-based "Texans for Limited Government PAC," which is run by the wife of Sapp's political consultant. The mailer laughably bashes Klick for being new to District 91 but omits that recent redistricting is the reason.She didn't move, the district did. Klick is a longtime resident of this area who is surely very familiar with our local concerns.It is insulting to the people of District 91 to assume we won't see through it.
