Moms Meet & Tweet: Panko Crusted Crab Cakes and Skinny Colada recipes

Thanks to all the moms and dads who showed up to our Moms Meet & Tweet at the Brownstone Restaurant in Fort Worth Thursday night.  We had a great turn out! For those of you who missed Brownstone Chef Christian Lehrmann's cooking demo of Panko Crusted Crab Cakes and Mixologist Josh White's demo on mixing up The Skinny Colada, here are the ingredients to make these creations:

Panko Crusted Crab Cakes

Ingredients:

1 lb jumbo lump crab

2 whole eggs, 1 yolk

1/3 cup mayo

1 tablespoon creole mustard

Dash-tobasco

Juice of 1 lemon

1/3 cup cilantro, chopped

1/3 cup parley, chopped

1 tablespoon dill, chopped

1/3 cup red onion, minced

1 teaspoon-old bay

1 teaspoon- salt

Panko-as needed

 

Skinny Colada

2 oz coconut vodka

1/4 oz pineapple vodka

Fresh squeezed lemon and lime juice

Splash of pineapple

2 oz club soda

Pour over ice
