Thank you for presenting this topic for discussion. Everyone, involved or not in education, has serious concerns about the validity, success, expense and necessity of school testing.

Those involved will tell you it entails many non-teaching hours, tremendous planning and manpower and a great deal of money. In these times of budget shortfalls and questions and doubts regarding the tests, surely the teachers, resources and funds could be much better used with better results.
