Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett and some of his players tried another sport in the name of charity Wednesday evening: baseball.

The Cowboys hit balls at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters during Reliant Energy's home run derby. Tight end John Phillips looked like a natural against former Rangers pitcher Tim Crabtree, sending plenty of balls deep in the outfield and one into the left-field seats. Miles Austin hit one off the top of the wall in right center field.

As for Garrett, he set an example by laying down a couple of bunts to start his work. -- Carlos Mendez
