North Texans will need some suntan lotion Thursday afternoon, but Mother Nature will bring back cooler temperatures in the evening.The cooler temperatures and light winds will also be around for runners in the Cowtown Marathon races this weekend.Forecasters were calling for a high temperature around 80 degrees Thursday with sunny skies and breezy winds."Thats 20 degrees higher that what we should be," said meteorologist Amber Elliott of the National Weather Service office in Fort Worth.Elliott said temperatures should still be in the 60s or 70s at 7 p.m. Thursday, but a cold front arrives later in the evening, bringing with it cooler temperatures. The low Friday morning should be in the lower 40s and the high Friday will be in the lower 60s.No rain is in the forecast for the next several days.Runners in Cowtown events Saturday morning can expect temperatures in the upper 30s and light winds, maybe 5 mph. The high Saturday should be in the mid-60s.On Sunday morning, the long distance runners will be facing temperatures in the lower 40s and winds 10 to 15 mph.
