An 18-year-old Frisco woman who went missing after work Friday has been found outside Texas, police said shortly before midnight Saturday.

Bethany Stroud, who goes by 'Beth,' was last seen by co-workers about 8:30 p.m. Friday walking toward her car, which was parked on the south side of the Dr Pepper Arena, police said.

Frisco dispatchers received a 911 call from Stroud’s cellphone at 9:51 p.m. but there was no conversation on the line, police said.

Stroud was "under the care of law enforcement authorities" on Sunday and officers were on the way to speak with her, said Sgt. Brad Merritt, a Frisco police spokesman.

Anyone with information about Stroud or her car is asked to contact the Frisco Police Department at 972-292-6000.
