Arlington man drowns in pool at Colleyville home

An Arlington man was found dead Wednesday afternoon in a Colleyville backyard swimming pool in an apparent accidental drowning, Colleyville police said Thursday.

The victim was identified as Raymundo Castillo-Medina, 28. He was pronounced dead at 4 p.m. Wednesday. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office had not issued a ruling on his death pending an autopsy.

Castillo-Medina was found in the pool at a Colleyville home in the 4800 block of Cranbrook Drive East.

Authorities did not release any information on what caused the Arlington man to apparently fall into the pool.
