Through the first 20 games of the season, TCU women's coach Jeff Mittie has lamented his young team's "up and down play."
But those young Horned Frogs -- TCU has started up to three freshmen this year -- have a chance to prove more consistent Saturday against New Mexico.TCU is at .500 for the season (10-10, 3-2) but on Wednesday beat Air Force for its first winning streak in conference play. The Frogs traveled to defeat Boise State and the Falcons after a tough home loss to UNLV on Jan. 18.With New Mexico (6-13, 0-5) visiting, TCU has an opportunity to equal its longest win streak of the year and claim a winning record for the first time since December.Freshman Natalie Ventress has scored more than 20 points for the Frogs in three of their last four games.
