Weatherford High School senior Trooper Reynolds signed a Letter of Intent Friday to play baseball at Weatherford College.
Reynolds also played football for the Kangaroos but decided to focus on baseball last season.Realignment announcement to come ThursdayThe reclassification and realignment for the 2012-13 and 2013-14 school years will be released by the UIL on Thursday.Weatherford is currently in District 4-5A.Enrollment cutoff figures for each conference are released at the same time. Conferences are based on reported enrollments of students in grades 9-12 based on the figures submitted by schools in October 2011 and policies previously approved by the UIL Legislative Council.The alignments will be released on the UIL website and at all the Region Education Service Centers that morning at 9 a.m. The information will be distributed to school superintendents at the Regional Education Service Centers.Schools wishing to change districts may do so by getting a vote from both the district to which they have been assigned and the district to which they wish to change.The upcoming football season cannot begin earlier than August 30, according to UIL guidelines.Beginning practice dates will remain the same for all conferences.
