Keller Timber Creek's soccer team is picking up where it left off last season.

The Lady Falcons won the Aledo Tournament over the weekend. They beat Arlington Heights 3-0 on Thursday, Weatherford 3-0 on Friday and Aledo in the championship game 7-1 on Saturday.

The Lady Falcons, who won the school's first playoff game last year over Boswell in their first varsity season, return a strong team.

"Right now I've got my foot on the pedal and we are going as fast as we can," Timber Creek coach Michael King said. "They are playing some awesome soccer. It's a lot of fun right now."

Starters include forwards Cat Sebazco and Micaela Birt; midfielders Kali Asher, Cayla Klinger, Caylin Gil and Sydney Banks; defenders Rachael Davis, Michelle Hernandez, Alexa Barisonek and Bailey Ruby; and goal keepers Kylie Hunt and Christina Hayden

Timber Creek is 5-1-1 on the season and travels to Saginaw and Crowley for matches this week.

The Lady Falcons were the No. 3 seed from District 11-4A last season and beat Boswell before losing the Wichita Falls Rider in the second round.
