FORT WORTH -- As promised, the Tarrant County district attorney's office is publishing the names of people charged with driving while intoxicated over New Year's weekend. At least 108 people were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in the county, according to the DA's website. The office is reviewing all the cases to decide whether charges should be filed. By Wednesday, 40 names were listed.

"We are adding the names of those charged -- in alphabetical order -- as quickly as we can and will continuously update the list as cases come in," the website states.

Assistant District Attorney Richard Alpert has said the new website posting aims to deter drunken driving by getting people's attention. The DA's office added the reminder that all the people named are innocent until proven guilty of DWI. Second fire hits Clarke Ave. home

FORT WORTH -- Fire reignited Wednesday morning in a house already heavily damaged, a fire official said. The second fire was reported at 5:19 a.m. in the two-story house, built in 1916, in the 3800 block of Clarke Avenue, just west of the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

After the initial blaze early Tuesday, a resident told investigators that two space heaters had been placed in a doghouse to protect the animals. No animals were injured in the fire, Tim Hardeman, a Fire Department spokesman, said Wednesday.
