Thank you

On Friday, Dec. 16, our home was burglarized and ransacked. Electronics, family jewelry and Christmas presents were stolen, also basic household essentials, toilet paper, bath towels, laundry detergent.

Through many tears, we have attempted to get the house back in order. The thieves left us feeling violated and turned what once felt like a home, just into a house. We were left lost and empty.

Then love entered...

My husband, a Trophy club police officer for seven years, was invited to eat with a fellow officer. At the restaurant, he was surprised to

find a roomful of kind-hearted people-- neighbors, Trophy Club citizens, members of local churches,

volunteers and colleagues. They had adorned a mini Christmas tree with gift cards and also filled a basket of dog treats and toys for our four "children."

Back came the tears, this time out of gratitude for the kindness and love of others.

Even though we were stripped of our material possessions the love of others has touched us.

We are eternally grateful for the love shown to us during these difficult times. It warms our heart to know we are surrounded by such caring, generous, selfless people. Thank you does not seem to do the gratitude we feel, but to those that have given generously , we are truly humbled.

Sincerely,

Jeff and Sunny Rocha, Denton
