Thank you

I want to thank the people of Keller for electing me to City Council Place 5. It is a humbling experience to be elected to public office, and I can't thank the community enough for showing its confidence in me. It was a challenging 11 weeks running in two elections, and I greatly appreciate all the support I received.

In particular, I want to thank everyone who voted for me. It's incredible to know that hundreds of people, some of whom I have never met in person, believed in my candidacy. I will always remember that. I also owe a debt of gratitude to all of the family members, friends, volunteers and donors who supported me. They were the backbone of the campaign, and I can't thank them enough. Finally, I want to acknowledge the other candidates who ran in the Nov. 8 and Dec. 13 elections. Jackie Black, Tom Buckman, Marcus McCrary and Doug Shaw definitely earned my respect for taking part in the electoral process and working for a better Keller.

I really look forward to joining the Keller City Council and helping lead our community forward. I am very excited about the incredible opportunities ahead for all of us, and I can't wait to get started.
