Bosses Pizza in Keller is celebrating a three-peat. For the third year in a row, the locally owned pizzeria has won Best Pizza honors for its brick oven baked pies. Slathered in a rich tomato sauce and covered with a generous layer of gooey cheese and fresh toppings, each slice features a hand tossed crust edged in a savory garlic butter glaze.

"It's better than the big pizza names in town," claims owner Tyler Stewart who credits quality ingredients, excellent customer services and friendly, dedicated employees for the success of his restaurant. "We want every pizza to be perfect."

The businessman, who recently opened a second Bosses location in N. Richland Hills, appreciates customer loyalty and tries to give back to the community. An ardent supporter of Keller Youth Association sports and area schools, Bosses Pizza frequently sponsors Spirit Nights. Non-profit organizations receive 20 percent of the evening's sales and tip money earned by volunteers.

"With all the competition around, I think it's fantastic that we've developed a fan base," says Stewart who offers a Monday-Friday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. lunch buffet.

The restaurateur has no trouble attracting pizza lovers but he's still waiting for someone to win his Big Boss challenge. A few customers have tried but no one has eaten a 19-inch Big Boss pizza with all the menu toppings in less than one hour. Anyone who can eat the five to six pound meal gets the cost of the pizza back plus a $100 gift certificate.

The winner goes down in Bosses Pizza infamy. "A plate with his or her name will go up on our wall," Stewart promises.
