ShoeString Interiors' goal is to create rooms that stand apart from the usual. Owner and operator, Terrie Daughtry strives to make sure each project represents the style, budget and personal needs of her clients.
"Our philosophy," Daughtry said, "you don't have to live big to live well. We want you to love coming home." Daughtry has been in business as an interior decorator for 10 years and has operated a retail and home décor store in Keller for 9 years."The unexpected decision by our landlord to convert the stores on Bear Creek into apartments has left ShoeString without a retail site for now. We hope to find a new location after the 1st of the year," says Daughtry. "In the meantime we continue to offer a full range of services including Christmas decorating, custom interiors, bedding, draperies, and our specialty, room arranging."The business supports many community service groups and the Greater Keller Women's Club. Among its honors, ShoeString Interiors was named a Keller Business Hall of Fame finalist in 2009 and 2010 for Entrepreneurial Spirit Customer Service and a Star Telegram Best of the Best Winner for interior design in 2009, 2010, and 2011.ShoeString Interiors
