When the mood to indulge yourself strikes, it's just a short trip to the you-focused pampering and grooming available at Lux Nailspa, a first-time "Best of Keller" winner.

The salon offers a range of manicure and pedicure services, from a basic buff-and-polish to ultra-deluxe, hour-long milk-and-honey treatments that rejuvenate tired feet. Other specialties include manicures for kids, hair removal and acrylic and solar nail treatments.

Owner Kim Duong describes her family-owned salon as "comfortable and casual", a place where a manicure session can seem like a visit with a friend.

"We focus on building personal relationships with our clients," she explained. "Most of our clients have been with us since we opened in 2005, so they trust us and look forward to their visits."

"We use the best products available, and we put so much emphasis on sanitation," she said. "We use an autoclave, which is an instrument that uses high-pressure, high temperature steam, to clean and sterilize our tools. Our pedicure spas are pipeless, which prevents cross contamination.

"Our clients see these practices, and it puts them at ease and lets them know that they are being taken care of," said Duong.

Duong said she believes it's important to give back to the community that has welcomed her business for nearly seven years. "We are lucky to have their business and we do our best to exceed their standards," she added. "We hope that you'll stop in and try us soon, and be sure to check out our website and Facebook for promos and specials!"
