Gray nearly scored at will against Springtown, with 342 rushing yards on 16 carries (21.4 yards per carry) and seven touchdowns. With the effort, Gray moved into third in scoring all-time nationally (962 points), moving up two spots.
Defense
Jack Arispe, LB, Arlington
The junior was a one-man wrecking crew in helping the Colts hold undefeated Arlington Martin to 31 rushing and 166 total yards. Arispe racked up 17 tackles (one for loss), a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Special teams
Ron Reid, K, Burleson Centennial
Reid nailed a 42-yard field goal in a tie against Dallas Spruce.
