Secret of success: The Fort Worth Zoo is home to nearly 7,000 animals living in luscious habitats, and families can take a journey around the world and back again, all within the park's 64 picturesque acres. The brand new Museum of Living Art (MOLA) is the only herpetarium of its kind in the country, housing a world-renowned collection of exotic, endangered reptiles including Salty, the largest saltwater crocodile in any U.S. zoo or aquarium. The World of Primates has representatives from all four great ape species - gorillas, orangutans, bonobos and chimpanzees.
