Not your daughter's baby oil

Fort Worth Star-Telegram

In one of my recent Birchbox boxes, I received a tiny bottle of fancy-sounding oil. I was immediately skeptical. My previous experience with oil had been limited to greasy (and not-so-good smelling) baby oil, which I could never bring myself to slather on my daughter's skin. But when I uncapped this bottle, I realized it was decidedly different.

Nuxe Huile Prodiegieuse (and no, I still can't pronounce it) is a multi-use dry oil, which means you can use it on your body, face and hair. It's a blend of six different essential oils, including sweet almond, hazelnut and macadamia. I will sum up the scent in one word: divine. More specifically, it's light and botanical and refreshing. As I've progressed in my pregnancy, I've found another brilliant use for it: preventing stretch marks on my growing belly.

While it's a little pricey at $29.50 for 50 ml, one bottle should last for months and months. Buy it at Birchbox, and check out the video tutorial on how this cult classic can give you dewy skin.
