ARLINGTON -- The Rangers' offense showed no signs of slowing down Friday night as Texas smashed three homers on the way to an 8-5 victory over Oakland.

Texas has won five consecutive games and has had at least 10 hits in each of them. The five-game streak is one short of the season high for Texas, which was set when the Rangers won their first six games of the year.

"We just want to try and keep the line moving," said first baseman Mike Napoli, who hit a grand slam and had three of the 10 Texas hits. "We talk about putting quality at-bats together and playing the ball right."

Friday night they took advantage of Oakland All-Star left-hander Gio Gonzalez, scoring seven runs and hitting all three of their homers off him in four innings.

Napoli's first-inning grand slam set the tone, and Ian Kinsler and Adrian Beltre followed with solo homers in the second as the Rangers led 7-1 after two innings.

The offense helped send Texas All-Star lefty C.J. Wilson (9-3) into the break with a victory. Wilson allowed four runs in seven innings and hasn't lost a decision since May 20.

An error brought in the first Texas run before Napoli launched the first pitch he saw from Gonzalez into the stands in left field. It was the start of a big night for Napoli, who also added two doubles.
