Remember that mysterious light show in east Fort Worth late Tuesday evening?

Oncor and the National Weather Service have apparently concluded that the explosions were transformers set off by some sort of lightning strike.

Brian Luenser, an amateur photographer who frequently contributes photos and videos to the Star-Telegram, caught the show from his home on the 34th floor of The Tower building in downtown Fort Worth.

He posted the 3 1/2-minute video on YouTube and notified the Star-Telegram and other media organizations, including CBS 11, about his work.

And Friday, he sent an email to point out that his video was trending on YouTube's home page, with more than 560,000 views.

"They contacted me today about revenue sharing," he wrote. "I agreed and enrolled in their ad program. I get 12 cents every time somebody clicks the link!

"Many people think the video is fake. That controversy puts money in my jeans!"

You can see more of Luenser's work from high above downtown Fort Worth in this video about the implosion of part of Amon Carter Stadium last December.
