Supplies
Craft paint
Paint brushes
11 x 14 canvas
Sharpie pen
Instructions
Paint canvas a base color. Make sure it is lighter than the colors you choose for your handprint butterfly.
Paint child's hands with darker color.
Place side by side and press handprints on canvas for the bottom wings of the butterfly.
Turn canvas upside down.
Repeat 2 and 3 with moms' hands for the top wings of butterfly.
Outline butterfly and paint the rest of canvas with polka dots or other patterns.
Use a sharpie pen to personalize with the date and name.
