DIY: Rosebud lampshade

Put some bloom in your room with this easy lampshade project

Everything's coming up roses. Transform a simple white lamp shade with this easy project.


Supplies (available at local craft stores):

Medium white lampshade

100 small silk flowers (Amount will vary depending on size of lampshade and flowers used. For the most bang for your buck buy the floral bunches instead of single stems)

Wire cutters

Low-temperature glue gun

Directions:

Cut stem off at base of flower with wire cutters.
Apply glue to back of flower with glue gun.
Press flower to the top of the shade.
Repeat this step to complete a row around the top of the shade.
Continue adhering flowers row by row until shade is completely covered.
Glue down petals of attached flowers to fill gaps.
