Specialty children's shops and magazines are filled with precious custom frocks to celebrate the birthdays of our little ones. But the custom prices can be a bit hard on the pocketbook. With a few supplies from a craft store, you can make a similar look for more than half the price.
Supplies
T-Shirt (I used a long sleeve t-shirt from Justice that I found on sale, and with a 40% off coupon it was $7.50)
Glamour Glitz Iron on Crystals in Jet black (small 50 Pcs, $2.99, Hobby Lobby)
Glamour Glitz Iron on Crystals (large 32 Pcs, $2.99, Hobby Lobby)
S.E.I Iron-on art in Houndstooth pattern ($2.99, Hobby Lobby)
Total Cost: Around $16.50
Directions
Draw design on paper side of iron on material. (I cut out a 5 and hearts celebrate our daughters 5th birthday)
Cut out design.
Place fabric design fabric side down on t-shirt.
Iron over design without steam for 10 to 20 seconds.
Peel off paper from fabric.
Place iron on crystal on t-shirt and design as desired.
Iron over crystals without steam for 10 to 20 seconds.
