FRIDAY, MAY 28
New Parents Tour: Pack up the baby stroller and join the tour designed to introduce new parents (with babies in tow) to a variety of artworks at the Amon Carter Museum. Refreshments will be provided after the program.Tour begins outside the Museum Store. Reservations are not required, but we recommend that parents call 817.989.5031 to receive helpful instructions. Parents are encouraged to park in the lot on Lancaster Avenue, south of the museum, and enter the museum through the accessible Lancaster entrance.

Snake Feedings: Watch the River Legacy Naturalists feed the snakes on display at the Living Science Center. Stay after for a brief Q&A with the Naturalist.

SATURDAY, MAY 29
Yoga in the Park: Complimentary all-level yoga class in CenterPark. This is a great way to try out local instructors!  Wear comfortable clothing and bring your mat or towel and water bottle.
Good to know: In case of inclement weather, the class will be held inside lululemon athletica, located between Dillard's and Macy's.

Swim Clinic: Sigma Swimming is offering a walk-in swim clinic. Each clinic lasts for 30 minutes. Bring a swimsuit, towel and goggles.
Good to know: Sigma Swimming is a year-round program offering lessons as well as a USA swim team.

Super Duper Mini Chefs: Super Duper Mini Chefs combines demonstrations with hands-on activities that encourage kids to have fun and get creative with food. During the event, kid chefs can pick up a food-friendly activity sheet provided by A Kid’s Life!, which encourages learning, discovery and self esteem through games, music and other activities available in an ad-free and secure online environment. Kids and their parents are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to help provide relief to families served by the GRACE charity.
Good to know: Simon Kidgits Club members will receive a free Strawberry Shortcake™ doll and free chef’s set, containing a mini rolling pin, cookie cutters, measuring spoons and a whisk, while supplies last. Flutopia: Flutopia consists of 12 people who perform throughout North Texas to the delight and amazement of young and old alike.  Their performance may include a collection of  American favorites such as "American the Beautiful", "Stars and Stripes" and "My Country Tis' of Thee" or selections such as "Echoes in the Wind -- A Native American Soliloquy".  This fun-filled activity program is designed for elementary school age children and takes place at 2:00 pm in NorthCourt which is located between Nordstrom and Macy's, beneath AMC NorthPark 15 theatres.

National Scouting Museum Free Funday: Kids can see original Norman Rockwell scouting art and the World's Largest Pinewood Derby Car. They can also participate in interactive exhibits, virtual-reality gamebike adventures and the laser shooting gallery.

Memorial Day Service: The Memorial Day observance will include a tribute to the service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. A bagpipe-led processional, 21-gun salute and flyover will be part of the service.

Little Gabby Meets Her New Family: Young author Katie-Rose Watson has written a children's book about her own pet, a King Cavalier Charles Spaniel named Little Gabby. Young will read her published story, "Little Gabby Meets Her New Family".  Music accompaniment will be provided by guitarist Wesley Gengle, and the children will get to meet and greet Little Gabby!

North Texas Beat: African Village Night: Live African drummers and dancing hosted by KUMAASI African Ensemble. You can bring your drum and join the circle.
