SATURDAY, MAY 22
Yoga in the Park: Complimentary all-level yoga class in CenterPark. This is a great way to try out local instructors!  Wear comfortable clothing and bring your mat or towel and water bottle.
Good to know: In case of inclement weather, the class will be held inside lululemon athletica, located between Dillard's and Macy's.

Asthma Screening: Dallas allergists, who are asthma specialists, will conduct free screenings.  During a screening, adults and children ages 8 years old and older will answer 20 questions about any breathing problems. Parents are permitted to answer those questions for children younger than 8.  Participants also take a lung function test that involves blowing into a tube, and then meet with an allergist to determine if they should seek a thorough examination and diagnosis.

Art Walk: More than 75 artists will showcase their art throughout downtown McKinney. A series of uniquely decorated frogs line the downtown streets to guide shoppers into shops during the event.

Founders Day Festival: Visit the City of Rockwall's historic downtown square for the city's annual celebration, which will feature vendor booths, activities for the kids, food, entertainment and concerts. Songwriter Robert Earl Keen is the star attraction at this year's festival.

Bancroft Family Concert: 4th Annual Charles Barr Memorial Concert: Introduce your children to classical music. Today's performance honors the memory of Dallas-born bassist Charles Barr. Laura Liu, award-winning Dallas violin virtuoso, will perform with pianist Yurie Iwasaki.
Good to know: This series occurs on selected Saturdays. The concerts are 1 hour with no intermission and audience members may dress casually. Metered parking is available on nearby streets and in area parking lots. Dallas Museum of Art’s underground parking garage is $10.

New Parents Tour: Pack up the baby stroller and join the tour designed to introduce new parents (with babies in tow) to a variety of artworks at the Amon Carter Museum. Refreshments will be provided after the program.Tour begins outside the Museum Store. Reservations are not required, but we recommend that parents call 817.989.5031 to receive helpful instructions. Parents are encouraged to park in the lot on Lancaster Avenue, south of the museum, and enter the museum through the accessible Lancaster entrance.

Super Duper Mini Chefs: Super Duper Mini Chefs combines demonstrations with hands-on activities that encourage kids to have fun and get creative with food. During the event, kid chefs can pick up a food-friendly activity sheet provided by A Kid’s Life!, which encourages learning, discovery and self esteem through games, music and other activities available in an ad-free and secure online environment. Kids and their parents are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to help provide relief to families served by the GRACE charity.

Flutopia: Flutopia consists of 12 people who perform throughout North Texas to the delight and amazement of young and old alike.  Their performance may include a collection of  American favorites such as "American the Beautiful", "Stars and Stripes" and "My Country Tis' of Thee" or selections such as "Echoes in the Wind -- A Native American Soliloquy".  This fun-filled activity program is designed for elementary school age children and takes place at 2:00 pm in NorthCourt which is located between Nordstrom and Macy's, beneath AMC NorthPark 15 theatres.
