Dallas Kids Expo: DFW's Resource for Family THIS WEEKEND!

By arredmon on 04/29/10 13:26

I get the privilege to work with some pretty amazing events that happen in Dallas/Fort Worth. This weekend, the Dallas Kids Expo is here and I am pretty excited not just to promote it, but to attend it too! As a mom, I am always researching as much as possible about things in DFW that my family can do, information that I need to learn about being a better parent and to also fit in time to just be with my kid. So the Dallas Kids Expo is the perfect answer because I get this and more – all in one place.

The Dallas Kids Expo is sure to be a full day of fun and activities for your whole family. Don't miss out on the Macy's Fashion Show highlighting Big Brothers Big Sisters, “Cloth Diapering 101” with Pooters, the exclusive M2M Mom's corner - with cooking demonstrations by Chef Grady Spears and hair coloring techniques by Blaine’s Salon and so much more.  Lots of stuff for the kids including Princess Tea Parties by Miss Charm, Knight Demonstrations by Medieval Times, race car demos by Texas Motor Speedway, an art contest, and special appearances by Sparky the Fire Dog, Dallas Cowboys Rowdy, Texas Rangers Captain and that’s just a little bit of what you’ll find.

I know my son will be in the middle of all the bounce houses and will surely be on the floor taking part in all the fun activities that the main state will provide. And the best part of that – that’s all free with admission.

And to sweeten the deal, I have included a coupon for $2 for adult admission. Now, all you need is $5, a canned good (kids are free with a donation) and free parking at Dallas Market Hall. So what’s the catch? There isn’t one except if you don’t attend, you are going to miss the best place to explore, excite and enjoy what DFW has to offer you.

Hope to see you there!
