MOM2MOM MOM'S CORNER AT DALLAS KIDS EXPO: Take the family for jammed-pack entertainment, great deals and services. Mom2Mom’s Mom Corner will be an oasis for moms to experience yoga, parenting tips and other services. Meet Chef Grady Spears who will be doing a cooking demonstration and signing cookbooks at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 1. At 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, expert colorist/stylist Blaine Schlaudt of Blaine's Color will choose one lucky mom to take part in a makeover. The first 50 moms to register at the Mom’s Corner each day will get a mom2mom gift bag.

Art in the Square: This juried art festival includes a Kid's Korner where activities include clay modeling, pipe cleaner art, oil crayon coloring, face painting and colored hair spray.  Don't miss the Youth Art in the Square, which displays work from aspiring high school artists.
Good to know: Many artist booths are only open until 9:00 p.m. Some artists may choose to remain open after that time during the evening entertainment, but this is up to the artists' discretion.

Denton Arts & Jazz Festival: Bring your chairs and blankets to hear the cool sounds of jazz. More than 2,200 performers on seven stages are scheduled to entertain. Other activities include arts and crafts, children's art activities, food and games.

Sounds of Spring Concert Series: The whole family can enjoy the music of the Beatles, performed by tribute band Me and My Monkey. North Richland Hills' own The Cut Off will open at 6:50 p.m. Children can enjoy the Kidz Zone with a variety of games and arts and crafts.
Good to know: Don't forget to bring lawn chairs. Beaker's Cookin' Shack at NRH2O will be selling snacks. Smoking, video recording, audio recording, glass containers and alcohol are prohibited.

Arbor Daze: Celebrate Earth Day with family fun including music, entertainment. Children can participate in the Kidz Zone, which will be filled with a variety of activities to keep the kids engaged. The Kidz Zone also features an entertainment stage booked with children's performers and educational shows. Don't forget to pick up your free tree to plant!
Good to know: Free parking is available at the Euless City Hall Complex. Additional spillover parking is available at First Baptist Church Euless on the east side of the parking lot. Free shuttle service will run from FBCE to the festival site.

Yoga in the Park: Complimentary all-level yoga class in CenterPark. This is a great way to try out local instructors!  Wear comfortable clothing and bring your mat or towel and water bottle.

Air Power Expo: Naval Air Station Fort Worth is dispensing with its usual firm security measures and will allow visitors on base for a military event flown by pilots in uniform that will include Navy F/A-18 Hornet air-to-ground show of force, Navy F/A-18 Hornet flight demonstration, B-52 Stratofortress flyover, special-operations joint commando parachute team, Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt flight demonstration, Cavanaugh Air Museum warbirds and Jan Collmer stunt flight. A free concert by country acts James Otto and Lonestar follows the air show Saturday.
Good to know: Food, drink and memorabilia will be sold on-site (no credit cards). Expect to have your bags and purses inspected. Do not bring pets, coolers, large bags, alcohol or weapons (regardless of whether you’re a permit holder). Parking is free.

Get Kidz Fit Fest: The Dallas Area Coalition to Prevent Childhood Obesity invites your family to be a part of this event that showcases simple and fun ways families can incorporate physical activity and nutritious eating into day-to-day life. New Parents Tour: Pack up the baby stroller and join the tour designed to introduce new parents (with babies in tow) to a variety of artworks at the Amon Carter Museum. Refreshments will be provided after the program.Tour begins outside the Museum Store. Reservations are not required, but we recommend that parents call 817.989.5031 to receive helpful instructions. Parents are encouraged to park in the lot on Lancaster Avenue, south of the museum, and enter the museum through the accessible Lancaster entrance.
