Woman shot to death in Plano home; husband later arrested
The husband of a woman found shot to death in her Plano home was arrested early today in the Houston area, police said.
The man accused in the fatal shooting was taken into custody just before 5 a.m., but police did not release his identity.
Investigators believe the victim, whose name was not released, was shot in the house where two children and their grandmother also were staying.
Plano police responded to a call of shots fired about 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 4300 block of Lansbury Lane in Plano. When they went into the house, police found the body of the woman.
Investigators had not released a motive for the shooting.
