The kids our out of school and your babysitter already has party plans. What’s a parent to do? Here are some options for New Year’s Eve fun for the whole family:

BALLOON DROP AT ADVENTURE LANDING: The family-style New Year's Eve celebration offers children ages 12 and younger "all-you-can-play" miniature golf, laser tag and go-karts. A balloon drop at noon features age-appropriate prizes inside each balloon.
Good to know: Kids 4 and younger can participate in the balloon drop for free.

DALLAS MUSEUM OF ART’S ‘NOON YEAR’S EVE’:  Celebrate the arrival of 2010 with Radio Disney with music, dancing and visits with museum mascot Arturo. There will also be family activities related to the All the World's a Stage exhibition. Everyone can win prizes as the clock strikes noon.
Good to know: The museum closes at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

NEW YEAR'S EVE AT STRIKZ: The whole family can enjoy unlimited bowling, video games, laser tag and billiards. Admission includes a pizza buffet with soda.

LONE STAR CIRCUS PRESENTS CIRQUE BANQUISTA!
Take the family to see something you’ve never seen before: acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, clowns and more will put on a show to welcome the new year. This holiday circus show features performance artists from all over the world including Adam Vazquez from Mexico and his hand-balancing routine; the Poema Family’s Risley act -- they spin and juggle each other using only their upturned feet; and don’t miss Russia’s Mayya Panfilova and her Performing House Cats.

WINSTAR CASINO’S ‘BIG D’ NEW YEAR’S EVE:
No, you don’t have to drive to Oklahoma for this WinStar hootenanny — they’re bringing it right to us in Dallas’ Victory Plaza. Tunes courtesy of local bands The Bright (’80s new wave and ’90s Brit pop-inspired); Live 80 (’80s hits); and the horn-heavy, 10-member Limelight (hits from the ’60s through today). Keep an eye on the Dr Pepper Countdown clock!
Good to know: Don't miss the evening’s pop-off — the Dr Pepper Fireworks Extravaganza.

FWSO RED CARPET NEW YEAR’S EVE: A NIGHT AT THE OSCARS:
Get your family glamorous for the perfect NYE for the culture vulture. You’ll walk the red carpet into Bass Hall (watch out for those crazy paparazzi!) for a Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra performance of great silver-screen compositions.
