When I married my husband, I became part of a blended family. I have two stepsons, a twentysomething and 8-year-old, and two stepgranddaughters. I’m not going to lie to you; it hasn’t always been easy being “the stepmom.” But once in awhile, I get a little nugget of love or an unexpected hug, and I know in my heart that I’m truly blessed.
