ARLINGTON -- Police are investigating the deaths of three men in two separate shootings two hours apart Saturday night.
A man in his 20s was shot in the parking lot of the McDonald's at I-20 and South Collins Street about 8:25 p.m., according to a statement from Lt. Blake Miller of the Arlington Police Department.Witnesses told police that the shooting took place in a black luxury vehicle parked on the west side of the restaurant and police said it appears the unidentified victim and his assailants knew each other.The wounded man was transported by ambulance to Medical Center of Arlington, where he died of his injuries, Miller said in a news release.About two hours later, at 10:25 p.m., police were summoned to the Chicas Locas Club, 3401 W. Division, where two men were reported shot.Police found two Hispanic men in the parking lot who each had been shot several times. One victim was transported by ambulance to Arlington Memorial Hospital and the other to Medical Center of Arlington. Both men died of their injuries, Miller said in the news release.Police had scant details of the shooting and were seeking a suspect and motive in the case.Anyone with information about either shooting is asked to call Arlington Police at 817-459-5667 or Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS (8477). All tipsters remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward up to $1,000. An additional reward of $250 for information is also available through the Guns and Gang Busters Program through Safe City, police said.
