One man died Sunday evening from injuries he received in a single-vehicle wreck in the 3600 block of Hemphill Street, police said.

The man, believed to be in his mid 20s, died at John Peter Smith Hospital following the wreck around 9 p.m. Sunday, said Fort Worth Police Sgt. Rodney Bangs, supervisor of the Traffic Investigation Unit.

Bangs declined to release the man's name until he had a chance to check some details on the police report.

The wreck happened about a mile south of Hemphill Street's intersection with West Berry Street.

Check back for more details.
