Coppell man killed in Irving motorcycle wreck

Officials have released the name of the man who died early Friday in a motorcycle wreck on Texas 114 on the east side of Irving.

Christian Kay, 20, of Coppell was identified by the Dallas County medical examiner's office.

The accident was reported at 6:58 a.m. on eastbound Texas 114 near the intersection with O'Connor Road, a police dispatcher said.

Only the left lane was passable until the accident was cleared Friday morning, according to Traffic.com.

Preliminary reports indicated that only the motorcycle was involved in the wreck.

No other information was available Friday.
