A 30-year-old man was killed early Saturday morning on State Highway 121 in Grapevine when a car turned into the wrong side of the road, hitting the car the man was riding in, police reported. Jason Skrasek, a Watauga resident, was sitting in the front passenger seat in the 1973 International Scout that was hit by a Pontiac Grand Prix driven by an 18-year-old Flower Mound resident.

Skrasek was taken to Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine, where he died around 2 a.m. The driver, another passenger in the Scout and the driver of the Pontiac suffered minor injuries. The accident, which happened around 1:20 a.m., occurred at the intersection of 121 North and Grapevine Mills Boulevard. The intersection is currently under construction. Police said the Pontiac turned into the southbound lanes of Highway 121 against a red traffic light. The driver of the Scout lost control after the impact and the vehicle overturned.
