Georgia angler wins her third Women’s Bassmaster Tour title

Pam Martin-Wells of Bainbridge, Ga., chalked up her third Women’s Bassmaster Tour victory at Alabama’s Neely Henry Lake last weekend with a three-day catch of 36 pounds, 1-ounce.

She earned $51,000.

Juanita Robinson of Highlands and Lucy Mize of Ben Lomond, Ark., tied for second place with 26 pounds, 15 ounces each.

Kim Bain of Alabaster, Ala., who won the season opener last month at Lake Lewisville, finished fourth with 26 pounds, 10 ounces.

Bonnie Johnson of Weatherford finished eighth with 22 pounds, Debra Petrowski of Arlington placed 11th with 20-06, Debra Hengst of San Antonio was 16th with 17-04 and Robin Babb of Livingston was 17th with 17 pounds.

The next stop on the WBT will be June 19-21 at Old Hickory Lake near Gallatin, Tenn.
