NEW YORK -- NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been given no assurances that suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Pacman Jones will be reinstated this season.

“Zero,” Goodell said Thursday morning.

The Cowboys and Tennessee Titans reached an agreement in principle on a trade for Jones Wednesday evening.

“I don’t have any expectations what I might do,” Goodell said. “I’ve said I will decide before training camp based on how he conducts himself.”

Goodell added that he hopes to talk to Pacman Jones by June.

The NFL Draft is this weekend followed by individual team minicamps then training camp. Goodell said he will re-evaluate whether he will allow Jones to work out at the Cowboys’ Valley Ranch facilities before training camp.
